SPECIALIZATION

Tom is particularly skilled at working with emotionally charged individuals and families in transition. That is why he is the go-to real estate broker among therapists, family law, real estate, and estate planning attorneys in San Francisco, Marin, and Sonoma Counties.

PROFESSINAL EXPERIENCE

One of only fifteen brokers to receive the prestigious Frank Howard Allen Founder’s Award, Tom is also a recipient of the Chairman’s Circle of Excellence. He has chaired FHA’s Advisory Council and was one of the first Senior Real Estate Specialists (SRES). Tom is an alumni of the Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI).

In over twenty years as a real estate broker, Tom has twice been elected to the Marin Association of Realtors’ board of directors. He has chaired the Association’s education, commercial, investment, and professional standards committees, and has produced and presented numerous real estate presentations, including “The Art of Probate Sales,” “Top Producer” and “A Star to Steer By.”

INPERTURBABILY

In the early 1970s Tom volunteered at Marin Suicide Prevention and helped create Survivors of Sudden Death, one of the first grief counseling programs in the country. Now in his twelfth year with Hospice By The Bay, Tom is a patient care, bereavement, and end-of-life vigil-sitting volunteer.

Tom teaches at the Academy of Intuitive Medicine in Sausalito, and is an intuitive counselor.

REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS

Tom has listed, sold and purchased numerous probate, trust and conservatorship properties. He has personally owned and renovated eight properties in west Marin, including The Poet’s Loft, Kaizen, and Dancing Coyote Beach, a bed and breakfast.

PERSONAL

Tom, fourth of five children, was raised in San Francisco, graduated from Washington High School, attended UC Berkeley and did graduate work at UCLA. With his daughter Alexis residing in Portland, Oregon, he now inhabits an empty nest in Ross, CA.
