Marin Designers Showcase
Friday, May 14 – Saturday, June 5
Open Tuesday – Sunday, from 11 AM-4 PM: Open until 8PM on Thursdays and Closed Mondays (Open Memorial Day)
On hiatus for the past two years, this popular event returns to Marin. Thirty Bay Area designers showcase their talents and visions, while staying true to the original character of this 1929 8,000-square-foot Georgian Colonial, “Rosegarden Estate,” located in San Rafael.

Fourth Annual Eco Garden Tour: Taking a Bay-Friendly Approach
Saturday, May 15, from 10 AM to 4 PM
Novato-based Bay Institute, which works to preserve San Francisco Bay and its watershed, hosts this self-guided tour of more than 30 sustainably-built gardens between Novato and Tiburon. Learn about using eco-friendly practices in gardening, such as native and drought-tolerant plantings, rainwater catchment, erosion control measures and utilizing mulch and compost.

Marin Living: Home Tours
Saturday May 15, from 10 AM to 4 PM
Presented by the American Institute of Architects, this tour promotes a wide variety of architectural styles – all from the architect’s point of view. Each of the five homes presented on this tour embrace the beautiful surroundings offered in Marin and demonstrate how architecture and landscape can live harmoniously.
